Since January 2017, on the initiative of Sébastian Kopp, co-founder of the brand Veja, a contest intended for young people aged 18-25, living in the sensitive urban areas of Marseille has been launched. This mentoring program aims to encourage the professional integration of these young job seekers while also fostering the fashion sector.
Mentored by Pierre Violet during 2 months, the participants gave a new life to second hand jeans. They deconstructed and reconstructed them to develop their own creations. For the first edition 4 welfare centers have been selected: Frais Vallon, La Castellane, Felix Pyat and La Solidarité. As an outcome of this program, every participant presented their creations to a jury of mentors. Every participant was awarded an internship, a professional contract or a fixed-term contract proposition.

A l’initiative de Sébastien Kopp, co-fondateur de la marque Veja, un programme de mentoring, destiné aux jeunes entre 18-25 ans qui habitent dans les cités à Marseille a été initié depuis janvier 2017.
Ce programme d’accompagnement vise à favoriser l’insertion professionnelle de ces jeunes demandeurs d’emploi tout en valorisant la filière mode.

A l’issue de ce programme, les jeunes ont présenté leurs réalisations devant le jury de mentors. Chaque participant se voit proposer un stage, un contrat pro, CDD ou un CDI.
